Do Something by Amber Walsh (private)
Do Something is a book which is close to my heart because it was the first book that I both wrote and illustrated. What I enjoyed the most about creating the illustrations for this book were the vibrant gradients and the centering of the main character on most of the pages.
I sought to utilize colour as a part of the story-telling; beginning with a more grey pallet, and gently incorporating warmer, brighter gradients to the page’s background.
