Yami and Covid-19 by Bokang Phiri (published)
This illustrated book is up there amongst my favorites. The writing pushed me to think outside of the box and create illustrations which are relatable to the reader, especially being that the topic is in line with the experience that many people faced during the pandemic. I would hope that this book offers future young readers a better idea of how the Covid-19 pandemic looked through the eyes of a child their age, through the illustrations.
